Formed in 2002 the main purpose of the Charities Buying Group (CBG) is to reduce expenditure for not-for-profit organisations. By offering an efficient procurement solution, it allows members to deliver greater investment in frontline services, helping them leverage their resources to effectively benefit their stated objectives.

CBG invest their profit funds in CBG4Health, which in turn is dedicated to investing in community-based initiatives and projects such as the National Walking Football Alliance. The NWFA seeks to help with the expansion of walking football communities in the UK by supporting teams and individuals who participate in walking football and those individuals looking to participate and teams looking to start up.

David Harrison, Director of Public Sector Sales, said “The CBG Framework is an important contract for Sharp UK, and I am delighted that we have the opportunity to work with the team. Being awarded a place on this framework is testament to the high-quality support we provide as a trusted technology partner, as well as our inherent understanding and commitment to supporting organisations across the public sector.
