A refurbishment process with quality at its centre
- Collection - When a Sharp device reaches the end of its lease, it is collected from the client by our logistics team and delivered to one of our warehouses.
- HDD Data Clear - Ensuring compliance with data regulations (e.g. GDPR), no sensitive data will remain on the device after wiping.
- Approval - The machine is assessed for suitability for refurbishment. If a machine fails the assessment, it will be recycled in line with WEEE regulations.
- Full Health Check - The machine is given a comprehensive health check by a highly qualified engineer to check which parts may need to be replaced.
- Replacement Parts - Sharp original components are fitted, ensuring the device is functioning in line with our stringent standards.
- Intensive Cleaning - The device will be cleaned to the highest standards using industry-approved products.

We have stringent requirements for whether a machine is refurbished or recycled - the machine will go through an initial assessment for suitability before a thorough refurbishment and quality check. Devices that are returned to us have also been maintained by Sharp on our Managed Print Contracts, so you can be confident that they have been looked after to the highest standards through the duration of their life.
