As 2024 comes to an end, we are looking back on what a successful year it’s been. We have had an extraordinary year filled with some amazing achievements and milestones. From graduate schemes to innovative product and service launches, here’s a look at our standout moments.
Making Sharp a great place to work
We continue to strive to make Sharp a great place to work. In a bid to further that, we opened 1 new office and renovated 2 of our existing offices. Our new office in Ayr stands as a modern space for our teams to be based out of and to serve our clients in that region. The renovations in Wakefield and Warrington have not only created a more productive, contemporary space for our teams to be based out of but also a welcome showroom to showcase to our clients.
Each year our team members get given a day off to volunteer at an organisation of their choice. From Dogs Trust to Seashells, they have given up their time to give back to various charitable activities and community projects.
Sales Graduates
At the start of 2023, we launched a brand-new sales graduate scheme where we onboarded 7 new starters. Fast forward 18 months and all 7 of them graduated into different roles throughout the business. All of them are great assets to our organisation, with fresh perspectives and energy into our teams.
Marketing achievements
Following on from the success of winning Marketing Team of the Year last December at the PrintIT awards, our Marketing team have carried on the successes throughout the year.
They have launched 3 new case studies; PDC, The University of Buckingham and Chelmsford College. All of them celebrate our innovative, award-winning solutions and the exceptional efforts of all our teams.
This year we hosted 2 webinars for our clients, Unlocking Your Business Potential with Microsoft Copilot and Future-Proofing Your Security: AI’s Role in Both Cyber Attacks and Defence. With over 200 attendees, they provided valuable insights on AI, an incredibly relevant topic. We also hosted 7 webinars for our dealers and partners which racked up over 240 attendees.
Award wins
We are proud to have received multiple esteemed awards this year. Most recently, we had 2 successes at the PrintIT awards in December, bringing home the award for employee experience and Best Partner Programme.
Earlier in the year we attended the Security Excellence awards where we won the SME Security Solution award. We received the award for our Endpoint, Detect and Response (EDR) Solution, a cyber security solution designed to provide protection against cyber threats and malicious activity.
In May, we brought home the highly prestigious Tech Company of the Year award from our evening at the National Technology Awards. The awards are hosted by National Technology News (NTN), a key news brand for technology vendors and purchasers in the UK. These awards are an annual celebration of technology, created to recognise leaders and innovators in technology so winning this award was a hugely proud moment for us.
These awards are a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication, and we strive to gain more accolades in 2025.
Virtual Showroom
Our new Virtual Showroom has revolutionised the way our clients interact with our products and services. This immersive online experience allows clients to explore our offerings in detail, providing a convenient and engaging way to view our solutions.
Support Service
With an average call answer time of 7.6 seconds, our support service teams go above and beyond for our clients daily. From all the feedback we received, 99% of it was positive. We pride ourselves on our customer support and our relationships with our clients and strive to continuously improve that in the years to come.
